Jason Upton’s new CD is available. Maybe you already knew, but I just found out. Most of the tracks were recorded in his living room, the others are from the road over the past year.

The microsite is pretty cool, and you can listen to the better part of many of the songs. (How’s that for vague?)

I dig it. (Except that the little player on the bottom doesn’t tell you what song is on.) Very folk-sy. Especially the song that’s on as I type this – but, of course, I don’t know which one it is. I’m also totally in love with the cover art, which is both completely appropriate for the sound and completely beautiful. Here’s a bigger one, of the actual cover:
